As owner and Certified Wedding Planner, Karen helps her clients get started on their journey of wedding planning. From the initial consultation she puts you at ease so you can enjoy the planning process. She is a wealth of knowledge; sourcing vendors that fit your taste and budget and will create a checklist to keep you on task. She is a great listener, problem solver and an advocate for her couples. Karen’s background is in catering and she loves to go with her clients to tastings (especially cake!) and venue visits. Karen runs a tight team of coordinators that will seamlessly step in and coordinate your wedding day. We have you covered. Other than her passion for wedding planning, Karen loves spending time with her husband, kids and gal-pals! She finds pleasure in kayaking, boating and hiking the Appalachian Trail. And on a cold crisp winter day, she loves reading books by her favorite author, Kristin Hannah, while sipping on a cup of hot chocolate, wrapped in a cozy blanket.
Breanna loves all things weddings. To say she holds a small affinity to beautiful details would be an understatement. There is nothing that makes Breanna happier than to see others happy. Being a wedding planner is a true dream because she loves helping people and is so excited to do it every opportunity she gets. It is such an honor to be a part of people's happiest day of their lives. Breanna has been in event planning for 8 years now. She's been on the catering side and has now decided to explore the planning side.
Breanna loves getting outdoors with her family of 5 and being active with fun activities like hiking, fishing and crabbing. She has a passion for baking and cooking. She also enjoys finger knitting huge comfy blankets!
Yes, we are licensed and insured and belong to The Wedding Pro Academy, Association of Bridal Consultants, National Association for catering and events.
Yes, for weddings of over 75 guests, there is always an assistant, and sometimes more than one depending on the size of the wedding.
Yes, it is crucial that we attend and run the ceremony rehearsal in conjunction with your Officiant, so it is automatically included in every package. Unless your church has specific rules about our team running the rehearsal, then we respect those policies.
We are trained in all things wedding, and have a team ready to step in if absolutely necessary.
We can be as involved as you need or want us to be! All actual decisions are made by you. We’re here to be your coach and advocate, and to make the whole process easier and more efficient for you and your fiancé. So please let us know how involved you want us to be involved in your wedding planning.
We love vendor meetings and are happy to attend! (Probably because we love vendors) Even if meetings are not a part of your package, individual meetings can be added a la carte.
Absolutely! Some planners keep their Preferred Vendor list under lock and key unless you book their Full Service level package. But when you work with us, every client automatically receives our Favorite Vendors list upon booking! These are vendors that we know, adore, and have worked with in the past, so we trust in their quality and service.
Typically after our initial phone call, we will put together a customized package and quote with a flat rate based on the size and scope of your wedding. We like to review the package with you at our in-person consultation.
Never! This is our time to get acquainted and to decide if we are a good fit for each other!
We love all types of weddings, but we have a soft spot for military and multicultural weddings.
In the months leading up to your wedding, you’ll be spending a lot of time with your wedding planner. You’ll want to get along! So the right planner for you is the person or company you feel most comfortable with. Our initial consultation is complimentary, so you can get a “feel” for us before you jump into anything.
As soon as you get engaged is recommended. Dates are booked well in advance and the sooner we begin planning, the better! If you are interested in the Ultimate Planning Experience, we recommend booking as soon as you have secured your date & venue.
A coordinator is an investment in making sure your wedding day is beautiful & flawless while taking that stress & duty off you and your family. Just like you, your friends & family want to enjoy the day and celebrate with you rather than working your event for you.
Weddings are fabulous, wonderful, emotional, and exciting celebrations of your new life together! However, planning a wedding is a ton of work, often between 200 – 250 hours! That’s like taking on an additional job… who has time for that? Wedding planners help bring the dream of your wedding to life, handling much of the legwork, keeping you on track and on budget. We handle every detail and can foresee and prevent common issues, so you can enjoy the experience of your engagement and wedding instead of stressing about it.
Smooooth sailing! You’ll be able to truly relax, enjoy your day, and be the bride, without wondering if the limo is going to show up, if the ceremony is going to start on time, or if the escort cards and dessert table are set up perfectly. You, your fiancé and your parents will be able to take your rightful place as V.I.P.s
